Ok, now for the boring legal stuff.
This website is independently owned and operated and really an experiment to share my passion for comics, I have been a fan since a young boy but never really knew the dynamics of the many facets when it comes to the comic book industry, there are people who enjoy a good read but I’ve come to realize there’s a lot more at stake here. It’s complicated, especially with the newer cover art technologies, comic artist’s higher standards and a higher demand for cover art combined with the comic investment factor, which only until a few years ago I paid much attention to.
Comic investors take this stuff seriously and there is potential to make a profit if you invest wisely but I have to be honest, it takes a lot of time and dedication in finding a comic worth investing in and holding on until you see an interest, that’s the thing with comics, they get Hot but also can have their Cold spurts and can sometimes be a waiting game. There’s also the speculation game, where you speculate that a cover price will sky rocket but I don’t rely too much on this as it can get very costly. So I guess this is where this site comes in, maybe help avoid some of the hard work for you.
So I’ve been meddling in this some time now and have created quite a collecting and you’ll see that most of my books will be #1s in a series, Virgin covers, significant updates, like introducing new characters or for the cover art, I think this is the biggest factor for me, I really appreciate the new artists and what they bring to the table, it’s like being at a comic art show for me, in fact I have had a few cover art designs created by an awesome UK artist which are displayed on the site but also a few others. I simply provide a cover sample of what I want and he delivers with awesome results. There are of course too many great artist to list but I look forward to displaying any art work on the site either of my own or theirs.
I think I have a lot of popular and rare books and l look forward to seeing where this venture leads me, I don’t expect to become a success overnight but I do enjoy the challenge and why I decided to create this website and to share my list of comics for sale to find out if there really is a demand. I also am thinking about consignment but I’ll see where this leads and if there’s enough interest I’ll think about it more seriously. By using this website, customers acknowledge their consent to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which should be read before proceeding. Use of this website and information contained within is subject to the Terms and Conditions set out below. I reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice. Customer Accounts
When placing an order, Rage Comics requires customers to create an account or login to an existing account, in order to obtain details for contact and shipping purposes. This account can also be used to track order statuses. Rage Comics does not use any information entered here for any purpose other than those indicated. Full details can be seen in our Privacy Policy.
Purchases and Pricing
Orders placed via the shop on this website are considered as a formal request to purchase requested products and will require payment details to be processed.
An order confirmation email will be issued to customers detailing the order and price for delivery. This order confirmation is neither a guarantee, nor a contract or an invoice. Customers should always check this confirmation carefully to ensure that their requirements have been entered correctly.
Customers must be 18 years or over to make any web or email purchases and Planet Ace Ltd reserves the right to accept or reject any order for any reason at our absolute discretion.
All prices on this website are in £ sterling and include V.A.T. where appropriate.
I makes every effort to ensure that the contents listed on this website, including product information such as images, specifications and prices are correct. However, errors may occur and Rage Comics reserves the right to alter product prices and information on this website without notice. In the event that this occurs after an order has been placed, Rage Comics will inform the customers affected of altered and corrected prices as soon as possible. Customers will have the option to continue with the purchase at the corrected price or the right to cancel the order. If the option to cancel is chosen, a full refund will be issued.
Please be aware that Rage Comics does not consider a pricing adjustment due to a promotion, sale or other offer as an error in price, and the above conditions do not therefore apply.
Please be aware that I try to list actual product images but as this can be time consuming, I also list stock images for products and the product may not always be identical to the image, for example a product may list that a cover is signed but the stock image is not, you will receive the product description and not necessarily what’s in the photo but these similarities will be minimal, if there is a discrepancy, the product description will over-ride the product image. Please ask any questions if it’s not clear about the product you are interested in before purchasing.
There is no minimum or maximum order quantity unless specified or qualified in a particular promotion or offering, including but not limited to availability restrictions.
Most of the stock is new or unread unless otherwise stated.
Rage Comics is under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised with an incorrect price or description.
Ownership of goods passes into the hands of the customer once Rage Comics has received full payment.
Payment
Rage Comics utilise payment gateways to accept online payments through this website, rather than handling credit/debit card payments directly.
PayPal allows any business or individual with an email address to securely send payments online. For more information on this service, visit Paypal.
Please note that when paying with a payment gateway, monies will be taken for the full amount of an order at the time the order is placed, not when an order is due to ship.
Availability
Despite carrying a large amount of stock, some items on this website may be offered as preorders or back orders.
Preorder items are yet to be received by Rage Comics and, where possible, an anticipated release or arrival date will be indicated, which is always subject to change in accordance to information received from the supplier of the item. Rage Comics will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled items, or for changes made by manufacturers. In the event of a preorder item being cancelled, a full refund will be given of any monies paid in advance.
Back order items are reordered in the event of having sold out. Reordered items are usually supplied to Rage Comics within an acceptable time frame, however circumstances dependent on other factors, such as distributors, suppliers and couriers, can affect the duration. If an item purchased is on back order, customers will be informed of the situation. In the event of a back order item being cancelled, a full refund will be given of any monies paid in advance.
Rage Comics will not be responsible for compensating customers for any additional losses connected with the purchase of preordered or back ordered products.
Delivery and Shipping
Product prices for items listed in the shop on this website exclude delivery and shipping charges. Shipping to the UK, european and international countries is calculated at checkout.
Product prices for items listed by Rage Comics Subscriptions Service exclude delivery and shipping charges.
Rage Comics will dispatch all orders at the earliest convenience (usually within 3 working days), to an address indicated by the customer when the order was placed. Goods are shipped via the Royal Mail postal service or a nominated courier service. In the event that a customer is unavailable to accept delivery, a missed-delivery card will be left by the Royal Mail/couriers. If re-delivery is not arranged by the customer, once the parcel is returned to sender, Rage Comics reserves the right to charge a fee to resend the item(s).
Rage Comics reserves the right to refuse delivery to an address that may not be secure, such as (but is not limited to) a communal postal address, a BFPO or a PO Box. In this event, customers will be informed as soon as possible.
Customers outside of the UK please note that, when goods are shipped abroad, they are subject to opening and inspection by Customs authorities. In addition international customers are liable for any local sales taxes or import duties which may be charged on the item(s). Rage Comics have no control over these charges and cannot confirm how much the charges may be. International customers are also responsible for providing any information required by customs to ensure the goods are cleared.
Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. Rage Comics will not be held liable to customers for deliveries delayed due to circumstance, such as (but not limited to) customs or weather. In the event that an expected delivery fails to arrive beyond the suggested time period, please contact Rage Comics within a further 28 days for the matter to be addressed. Rage Comics will not be held liable to customers for failed deliveries that are not reported within this extended time period.
Returns and Cancellations
Customers may cancel their order, for any reason and at any time, up to 7 working days after the item(s) have been received. In this event, Rage Comics must be informed within that time period, in writing.
Website Shop orders that have not yet shipped can also be cancelled by customers logging in to their Shop account on this website, selecting the relevant item(s) and choosing to cancel the order themselves. Alternatively, send an email to enquiries@RageComics.uk indicating the order no. and item(s) no longer required. In the event of a preorder item being cancelled, a full refund will be given of any monies paid in advance. If Rage Comics has already despatched the product, customers will not be able to cancel their order via their online account. In this instance, customers should contact enquiries@RageComics.uk.
Rage Comics Subscriptions’ ongoing comics subscriptions can be cancelled at any time by customers logging in to their Rage Comics Subscriptions account on this website and removing the unwanted title from the list of current subscriptions.
All cancelled items must be returned to Rage Comics unopened in the original packaging, in resalable condition with all seals and wrappings intact (if applicable). In the event that items have been unsealed, the customer’s right to cancel no longer applies. Items must be returned to Rage Comics within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund. Planet Ace Ltd will refund the cost of the cancelled item, but will not refund any postal charges incurred as part of the initial order or the return postage.
Short Subscriptions – Cancelled Titles
In the event that a title ordered as a 6-Issue Subscription or Miniseries Subscription is cancelled by the publisher before the subscription’s conclusion, Rage Comics will notify customers and refund any outstanding monies allocated to the remainder of the subscription.
Faulty Goods
If an item received is faulty, defective or sent in error, please contact Rage Comics to arrange the return of the item.
Smaller items can be returned using the Royal Mail postal service, while Rage Comics may arrange for a courier pickup of larger items, if necessary. Customers should use and include all the original packaging when returning an item to Rage Comics. Rage Comics will refund any postal charges incurred as part of the return postage on faulty, defective or damaged goods.
Rage Comics will offer a ‘like-for-like’ replacement for faulty or damaged item(s). In the instance a replacement cannot be offered, a full refund of the cost of the item(s) including shipping charges will be given.
Faulty, defective or damaged goods must be returned to Rage Comics within 28 days of receipt, in order to qualify for a refund.

It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit or debit card number to attempt to order from this website. Rage Comics will prosecute any Customer caught wilfully entering a fictitious order to the fullest extent of the law.
If any single provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by a Court of Law, the invalidity of that single provision will not affect the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which will continue to have full effect.
The failure of Rage Comic to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
These Terms and Conditions shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the relevant United Kingdom Law. The Courts of the United Kingdom will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or other matter arising from these Terms and Conditions, the Customer’s use of this website or the supply of the product by Rage Comics
